Spheroidization Heat Treatment Conditions with Data Analysis in Medium Carbon Cr-Mo Steel for Ultra High Strength Cold Heading

The degree to which parameters affect the spheroidization heat treatment of steel was calculated by setting conditions Cr-Mo and using data analysis such as S/N ratio ANOVA. After analyzing transformation temperatures steel, Ac1 Ac3 , a DSC, were set accordingly. surface hardness measured for used an evaluation index. correlation analyzed comparing spheroidized volume fraction hardness, Pearson coefficient -0.88, proving that existed between two values. Using ANOVA, each control parameter affects decrease in analyzed, qualitatively quantitatively. For ratio, priority affecting analyzed. 1st heating temperature found have more preferential effect on than time 2nd temperature. determined be very significant factor with greatest influence, contributing 73.2% hardness. Intercritical annealing is suitable condition, so if needs reduced annealing, should designed priority.
